We provide Skype interviews for all our FDWs.You can interview the FDWs from the comfort of your home/office.

How much is the FDW's levy?

The monthly levy is $265.00 and is to be paid via General Interbank Recurring Order (GIRO).

Is there any levy concession?

The concessionary levy is $60.00 under the following schemes:

Young child or grandchild scheme

Aged person scheme

Persons with disabilities scheme ！ for persons with medical conditions who need help with at least 1 activity of daily living

What is a Security Bond & do all Employers have to purchase it?

A security bond is a binding pledge to pay the government (up to $5000) if you break the law or the conditions governing the employment of a helper. You need a bond for every helper you employ, unless she is Malaysian.

What are the modes of payment for Unistarr?

We accept cash, cheque, credit card (subject to admin fees) & NETS

Is the placement fee refundable?

Yes, the remaining placement fee is refundable after she has been transferred to the new employer. (As per employment contract)

How does the FDW remit money overseas?

There are various remittance services the FDW can engage to remit her salary.
