I will be honest with you from the start. Unistarr is not the cheapest maid agency in Singapore, and we have never tried to be. I am at peace with that, and by the end of this I hope you will understand why.
The trouble with cheapest
When an agency competes only on price, something has to give. Usually it is the part you cannot see at the point of signing: the time spent understanding your household, the care taken matching the right helper to it, the training before she arrives, and the support after she does.
I have seen what the cheapest route costs a family in the end. A rushed match that does not fit. A helper who leaves in two months. A replacement, more paperwork, more disruption, and a home more unsettled than when they began. The low fee was never the real price.

Cheap is not the same as good value. The right helper who stays for years costs you far less, in money and in peace of mind, than the cheap one who does not.
What we put our effort into instead
We would rather spend our energy where it actually changes how your two years go:
- Understanding your home first. Before we show you anyone, we listen. Your routine, your family, your must-haves, your worries. We hear your needs, and then we match to them.
- Our own training centre. Helpers arrive prepared, not thrown into the deep end.
- Real support, before and after. A placement is the start of the relationship, not the end of it.
- A 12-month replacement, written into the contract. Because we stand behind the match we make.
What this means for you
It means when you speak to us, you will get a straight answer, not a sales pitch. If a more affordable helper is genuinely the right fit for your home, we will tell you. If she is not, we will tell you that too, even when it is not the easy thing to say.
